Is Mexico City Safe?
|
Take and wear things you would take and wear as a tourist anywhere else in the world.
Plan accordingly. You are more/ just as likely to be murdered in Philadelphia, Las Vegas, Dallas, San Antonio,
Miami and LA, than you are Mexico City. Take the same level of consideration you would when travelling to these places.

Accommodations
|
Formal hotels in the area are limited; there are numerous Air BnB's throughout the area. We recommend staying nearby for the wedding festivities and then
venturing a few days into Mexico City. Roomblocks are not possible given the premises. Please make all necessary arrangements. If you're staying in Mexico
City, we recommend to stay in the Roma, Condesa or Polanco areas. Here are some articles and suggestions about where to stay:

Day of August 16th, 2025
There will be three official (yet optional) wedding events. Whilst it is not expected you would come to all three (we understand
people have places to be and may be travelling elsewhere!) we would love your company! Please rsvp to all events so we understand
how much catering is required for all three days.
- Friday 15th August evening - casual welcome dinner at the hacienda
Start time: 6:30pm, casual attire
- Saturday 16th August - wedding.
Ceremony begins 4:30pm; Cocktail attire
- Sunday 17th August - casual BBQ brunch
Start time: 11:30am; casual attire
The ceremony will be inside the chapel of the venue premesis. A link to view
the venue can be found below in the details.
We appreciate your love and generosity, but please NO GIFTS. However, we would like to invite you to write us tangible cards and heartfelt letters
we can cherish as the years go on.
There will be a photographer/ videographer. We are happy to share the captured moments with friends and family.
So please NO PHONES DURING THE
CEREMONY AND SPARINGLY DURING THE RECEPTION. We don't want the pictures and videos of our special day to be of people
taking pictures and videos.
The expected dress for the wedding is Cocktail Attire. Examples of which can be found

There will also be a few informal events (non-wedding related).
- Possible baseball game - Thursday 14th August 2025 evening. Depends on whether the local team will make the final (cost TBD)
- Visit to the pyramids - Friday 15th August 2025, time TBD; cost 90 pesos / approx $5 USD + transport
